Preheat oven to 350F
Cream the butter with mixer until creamy
Add maple syrup, vanilla, vanilla bean, and salt - Mix until combined
Add flour and combine with a spoon
Combine dough into a ball with your hands and divide ball in half
Shape each ball into a flat disk and wrap in plastic wrap
After the dough is done chilling, place the dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper roll it out to about 1 1/2 inches thick with a rolling pin
Cut into desired shapes!
Place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper and place in the oven for 10-12 minutes. (they should look golden brown)
Lastly, for the frosting, cream together the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and non dairy milk until combined
Top with sprinkles and enjoy!
